Why did i take so long ?  Wondering myself.

It’s been a while since my last personal blog post. I met an old friend recently who told she missed my blogging, and that got me thinking. Why have I stopped? It is crazy to look back to my 2016  and  see how life changing it has been for me.  I might relay some of the changes in the future posts.   The truth is I still love to write, it is now a matter of finding time to do it in my super crazy schedule.

New purpose for this site

I cleaned up this website. I will no longer put any photography or client work on here unless it is something very special. This blog is now for all things that inspire and uplift us. I will keep sharing personal stories on here as well, because life has funny ways of teaching us sometimes by example. I am moving towards the format in my business and life where I start coaching and mentoring others.  With  my  new photography studio in Norfolk  and splitting my photography brand in 3 separate businesses, my personal path is becoming more clear.  I am so thankful to other people who came into my life this year  and mentored me in many different aspects of business and life. I am so thankful for the chain of events that is currently  unfolding to bring my big plans into reality.

And that is what I want to talk to you today. It’s called MAGIC.

What is magic? Magic is this invisible force in our lives that creates the chain of events to move us closer to where we want to be. There was a period in my life around the same time last year that started the magic.  It started with failure. My husband and I were trying to acquire a piece of land adjacent to our property and because someone has bought it before us a day earlier. I had to take 3 days and went to Raleigh to be alone and have time to think. I was not sure  where  this event was leaving us, because in my mind I  have already build an imaginary future around it and I needed time. This was not meant to be.

Life changing book. Yes, just a book.

Soon after I came across a  book that has changed my life yet again. I had 2 life changing books in my life. The first one  (Ringing Cedars of Russia by Vladimir Megre) has changed my life when I was 14 and i lived by it until now, this time 15 years later (Have you noticed 15 year cycles ?) I had another life changing book -Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiosaki that has changed my outlook on money and business. May be because of this book I was able to take a risk and jump on the studio space that I was dreaming of and then figure out how to make it work. I know, many of you will call this decision illogical, impractical and irresponsible, but I called it magic. It was meant to be. I felt that all pieces of the puzzle started to come together one by one. I started meeting people that  I meant to meet and each person had a lesson to teach me, no matter how big or small.

Keep on Dreaming

The most amazing part is that I still continue meeting new people that continue helping me, puzzle pieces are still continuing to  come together, and the path  and resources are becoming more clear. I am feeling this invisible force that is guiding me and I am in a state of total bliss and gratitude for it’s presence. And that is why I tell you keep on dreaming, because they will find a way to make it true for you. All you need to do is just trust the process and keep working at it.
